Situated in the parish of Loughgiel, there is a strong local culture of Gaelic games, hurling and camogie, in which many of our children are immersed from a young age. St Patrick's Primary School supports this strong cultural link through activities and coaching within the school, availing of coaches from our local club, Loughgiel Shamrocks as well as through partnership with Ulster GAA. Each year our pupils have the opportunity to participate in Cumann na mBunscol tournaments, developing their skills, meeting pupils from other schools and building friendships outside their locality. As you can see from some of our photographs at the ball wall, we are fortunate to be able to avail of the fantastic facilities of the Loughgiel Shamrocks club.
