Maths week in Primary 4
20th Oct 2021
The children participated in a variety of activities. They completed a tree diagram to sort 2D shapes. The children played a place value game to see who could get the highest 3 digit number. We also took our learning out to the school garden at the back of the school, where the children had to use natural materials to complete a number of challenges. They made a symmetrical pattern, 2D shapes, use the materials to represent a number and created their own patterns. They then worked out what would be the 10th and 20th object in their own patterns.
